Paul Durwin is a renaissance man employed in the government electronics industry but interested in all kinds of other activities.  His most recent hobby is deep water sailing off the coast of New England in a 30 foot Cape Dory sailboat as well as maintaining a 15 footer locally for day sails.  He also enjoys kayaking, be it on lake, ocean or whitewater river.  He is currently the COPE and Rock Climbing Director for the local Boy Scout Council and organizes and leads hikes and snowshoe events in the local forests.  An experienced caving guide, he has led many groups of youth, college students and adults into the dark places inside the earth.  When not involved in any of these Paul can be found at his church in a variety of activities and ministries, not the least of which is as sound and video engineer and general ‘roady’ for the church band “Between the Banks” who perform Sundays in worship as well as local festivals and on public access TV.
